Ipsos is a small coastal village located in the central and eastern part of the island, close to Corfu town. It is build on the coasline of the Ipsos bay, at the foot of Mount Pantokrator. During the summer it is a popular destination among the visitors of the island. In the area you will find super markets, restaurants and bars. It is famous for its nightlife with several clubs, pubs, and cocktail bars scattered over the coastline.
The beach of Ipsos is a long and narrow beach with small pebbles, surrounded by the green mountains of Corfu. It is an organized beach with umbrellas, sunbeds and water sports.
Due to its location, Ipsos is an ideal starting point for exploring the island of Corfu. You can rent a car or scooter and visit the neighboring beaches of Dassia and Barbati with their crystal-blue waters. You can reach Corfu town with the Blue Bus which has routes to Corfu every 20 minutes.
In Ipsos beach you can rent a boat and discover the hidden private beaches in neighboring bays. On the beach you will also find plenty of water sports. During the summer many musical events take place in the region, such as the Helios Corfu Festival.
